Good to know

How do I play and unscramble words in Jumble?

Click or tap the on-screen tiles, or type letters directly on your physical keyboard. Use Backspace or Delete to remove placed tiles, press Space or the Shuffle button to shake up the remaining letters, and hit Enter to submit your guess.

Are alternate valid anagrams accepted?

Yes! Any valid English dictionary word formed from the complete set of scrambled letters is counted as correct, even if it differs from the primary target word.

How do progressive board sizes work?

Choose between 3×3 (9 words), 4×4 (16 words), or 5×5 (25 words). Each row steps up word length — starting with 4-letter vocabulary in row 1 and advancing up to 8-letter brainteasers in row 5.

How do dictionary hints work?

Hints remain hidden by default to keep each round sharp and challenging. If you ever hit a wall, tap 'Need a hint?' above the answer slots to reveal the word's dictionary definition without leaving the board.

What happens if a guess is incorrect or I pass?

Submitting an incorrect word marks that cell as missed and displays the intended answer. You can also press 'Pass word' at any point to forfeit that round and advance to the next word.

Can I play Jumble as many times as I want?

Yes! Jumble is a stopwatch game with unlimited replays. Fresh scrambled sets are generated every run so you can replay anytime and chase a faster finish.
